Buy byee

This is indeed a mad mad bad bad world. In this era of consumerism people tend to call you sir and madame and make you buy the most unwanted thing in your house. May be when you went inside a shop just to do some window shopping or may be a good evening timepass , you don't even know that you actually put your leg in the trap and that very evening will cost you some good bucks for maybe a thing which you have never thought to buy. Actually you don't even need to go to shops for that. People will come into your home in the oddest hours or call you up in the busiest schedule and they are damn good in convincing. Really damn good!!

Atleast if you don't buy that ( that means you got a good save ) because of your partner who gave you the look ( you know its a warning) or maybe you were in a doubt whether to hand over your debit card to the new era dacoits to swipe away your money but atleast you have to consider that they were damn good in giving you a presentation which made you fall in a fix about what to do.... May be for few moments you had a tough time to decide..

When you come home or after you discuss a bit about the actual necessity of that product you realise that you can easily do without it and it was a good decision that you did not buy. But if your troubleshooting powers were not that strong that eve then you come home and try to convince yourself that you really needed this one.. Now this presentation to your own mind is more convincing as you know how to convince yourself than the unknown stranger that evening.

This piece of thought came into my mind as this afternoon I was left thinking by a salesman who had brought four big editions of enclycopedia and dictionaries and was giving at a very low price. But in this fast world of mobile technology you hardly have time to open a book and find a meaning and its not that worth (thanks to google)... After I told them that I don't need this things now and they went away I thought  that for a few moment I got weak atleast ( may be I am too influencive ).  But I am glad that I did not buy those ( ya , I am lil canjoos) but at least I try to invest in the right things though it is never possible and I had bought many things which I don't need and afterwards had that self convincing feeling ( which I admit here )..

So be alert and think before investing.

Everyone has a story !!

I believe in the title. Everyone has his own story. Maybe interesting or may be not. There are incidents or people which someone may overlook or ignore but they all have a value of their own. I met this man 7 years from now and used to see him almost twice a week. He used to sit along the roadside near a colony where my ex- girlfriend lived. So on the way to meet my gf I used to cross that part of the road and my eyes would fall on him. I have watched this man in almost every season and I would wander how he survived in the extreme conditions of weather. But this is life. What surprised me more was that I could make out that he was not a beggar. He did not beg but I wandered how he survived then. I did not discuss my views with anyone. Only my silent gaze every single day used to update my thoughts and I kept them to myself. I was somewhere getting it interesting to learn the situation by myself on every new day.

Once I saw that few people were talking to him and few kids were sitting beside him on the old dusty carpet under the tent he had made for him. The tent had a small space inside for just one person to sleep or at the max sit. It was shaded by a blue plastic. On normal weather conditions he did not use the tent ( I closely watched him in every season on every day I went by the street for 6 years , so I have analyzed a lot by myself). The clothes of the people and the kids implied that they were not beggars either. Maybe they are not financially good but still they might have a home and don’t live in streets. This was not the only time I saw them. I had seen these people coming and talking to him. This old man talked rudely to them and abused the kids even as they were doing naughty stuff or irritated the old man in many ways. However it was clear that he had some connections with these people in some way or the other. I was also amazed that why this man on the street was not a beggar and he never begged from the passer bys. Then how did he survive and what was his source of food?

But when years of my travel did not gave me this answer, out of curiosity I asked my girl friend once. She told me the story. He was a Muslim guy. Once he had some heart troubles and his family members thought he was dead. They took his body to bury. But he woke up somehow and his family members realised that he was alive. In Muslim relegion I think (according to my ex- gf) there is a belief that they don’t take a person back once they take him for funeral. So these people could not take him back to home. He lived the life of a beggar. They used to come and meet him even gave him food.
Till the last day I have visited those streets I got a glimpse of that man and used to think how weird is the country and how weird are the rules. This is not for a particular religion but every caste creed religion has a specific set of weird rules which causes so much of trouble and I don’t find any reasons for them.

P.S : All of this is just what I have heard and I have no intention to strike any religious issues. Its about this unique world and their beliefs.

UNPREDICTABLE LIFE

Life can never be predicted( I am not talking about the astrologers, and I don't wanna get into that debate also). Life has many shades. It has many colours. You can't really decide which will suit you the best and if you can then you really can't bet on saving it for yourself. It may happen for your good or it may be bad. But change is the RULE OF LIFE.

The things and the events you plan from now are like the LIC POLICIES - subject to change and therefore think before investing. Sometimes even the unplanned incidents occur and struck you with unbelievable delight or distress. The steering of life is very sensitive and can change directions at any moment. But all I can say is that there is no point in holding it tight because few things are always unpredictable and when it occurs why it occurs one has no answers for it. You only have to enjoy and learn lessons from it.
